Favourite flavours: what we're eating & where.

It's no secret we have a passion for scent. But we also have a passion for flavour. Nothing makes us happier than finding a spot at one of our favourite partners and eateries, at home or over the Tasman, and delighting our senses with a delicious meal. Today we're sharing a few of our tops spots and what we love to order.

Duo Eatery


You'll find Duo Eatery in Birkenhead, a beautiful suburb in Auckland's North Shore. Helmed by hospo power pair Jordan and Sarah Macdonald, Duo seems to make fantastic food and excellent service look easy, consistently nourishing droves of Aucklanders (who happily commute over the bridge!) with their delicious menu. Our pick for brunch /lunch has to be the Raw Fish on Toast. The freshest market fish, finely diced into a flavour-packed tartare, sitting on creamy horseradish mayo on grilled sourdough. For dinner, you can't not choose the inexplicably good Paua Donut, followed by Crispy Eggplant with Nduja Dressing and Buffalo Curd.


Tipo 00 Pasta Bar

Tucked within Melbourne's iconic Little Bourke Street is one of our favourite Italian restaurants. Named after the famous flour used in their speciality pasta dishes, Chef Andreas Papadakis delivers comforting, clever, yet uncomplicated food. Not to be missed is the Tagliolini Al Nero – a striking almost-black squid ink pasta served with squid and bottarga. And finish the night with Tipomisù, a decadent chocolate, coffee and mascarpone delight.



If you find yourself in Wānaka, set your coordinates to Ardmore Street and pull up a chair at Muttonbird for the Market Fish Crudo. A staple on the menu (but with ever-changing seasonal flourishes), this extra fresh starter will have you salivating for the rest of the menu. George Proudfoot and Jonty Jackson are in the kitchen of this casual, comfortable bar and eatery. Head to the back deck, and you'll enjoy great views of beautiful, snow-capped mountains.
